Nalu — The Wild Within

We all carry something wild inside us, older than words. In Antropología Fantástica I paint it as a court: each animal wears its humanity — the jacket, the title, the rehearsed pose — because that is the easy half of the portrait. The wild lives in whatever the tailoring can't cover: the gaze drifting upward, the hands that never leave their pockets, the storm turning behind a head crowned with roses. Six of these creatures gather in "The Wild Within" at Nalu Art Gallery, Isla Mujeres, from August 1st through October 31st.
