Cuerpo de Tierra

A forked piece of wood opens like a body stretching its arms, two small nets — one dark, one golden — woven into the hollows where the trunk divides. The reddish grain shows through like flesh beneath bark: earth become body, holding itself upon stone and still refusing to stop growing.
