Jardín de Ceniza

A bowl of crackled glaze — white furrowed with the finest cracks and smoke — sends clay flowers budding from its rim, petals of ash opened by fire. Raku surrenders the piece to the chance of smoke and flame; from that night a garden is born, clay shaped by hand blooming from its own origin.
