Abanico de Sombra

A low vessel folds into waves; over its dark glaze — bronze, violet, almost obsidian — a fan of pale veins opens, like light caught inside shadow. It is the first glow in the dark turned to clay: the earth keeping its own night in a form shaped by hand.
